[SATLUG] X-Mas LAN Party Question: Doom3 anyone?

OK, I guess you could call it a LAN party.  My understanding is it will
be running a multiplayer, networked game or games using a gaming server
there in the SAC classroom. 

But as for what will be running, we have to ask Steve Winston.  He's
setting up the game server.  So can you give us any hints Steve???

And if some subset of people there want to run their own game (Doom,
Quake, SpongeBob, or whatever) -- I don't see a problem with it.  The
machines are there and ready for whatever you want to play.  We just
need to ask  Steve Kolars if its OK to load/run your own game.  

Or get around that by bringing your laptop already loaded (please, no
Winbows and games -- we don't want to risk a Winblows virus getting out
onto the SAC network).
