what you're going to have to do is use mythtv.

then you're going to have to run down to radioshack and get an irblaster (or
the equiv) in order to sync the pvr and the tw cable box.

sorry but there ain't an easier way

the tw digital cable box uses their own compression and encryption methods
and so you're gonna have a hard time trying to locate one built into a pci
card
