[SATLUG] Gentoo: What's all the fuss about?

Hi Steele:

I haven't used Gentoo, but I can say from experience that Debian is a
rock-solid distribution where everything "just works".  This is due in
part to the Debian policy of testing and testing again and again to make
sure that every package works perfectly before including it in the
stable tree.

The drawback is you don't always get the bleeding-edge version of each
software package if you're using debian stable.
