[SATLUG] Security

HEY!!! That's exactly the type of thing I've been thinking of. One of
those excellent "tips & tricks" that are so useful and make life easier.

I've been thinking of putting out a call on the list for exactly those
types of things. I think we should have two/three people at each
meeting with their little "tips & tricks" ON TOP of the monthly
speaker. It would be an extra little benefit for all our members who
attend the meetings.

I'm not talking about anything big, complicated programs, or something
that will take an hour to explain. I just mean little things like
Doug's example. Or little aliases/shell scripts that make life easier
and/or saves heart ache.

So, what do you guys think??? Should we ask for volunteers to show us
their favorite tip/trick each month? They could bring it on a floppy if
they don't have a laptop and we'll make arrangement for them to be able
to display it. Or they can do it on the white board. Whichever is
easier for the volunteer.

Anyone interested in stepping forward with their favorite lifesavers???
I'll be glad to pass along some I've worked up...

Chuck
