[SATLUG] OT WiFi and access points

I am thinking of using my cell phone and WiFi for my
internet connections when I am on the road.  Want
feedback as to how others set theirs up.

I'm using sprint pcs service for my cell phone right
now, but am thinking of switching to Verizon because
it would be cheaper according to people I've spoken
with.

 
WiFi is in its infancy but i've heard from others how
surprizing how often one finds an open WiFi access
point.  I think this is due to people not realizing
that they need to set up some security when they
install a WiFi access point.
