Mailman *can* be configured to allow attachments, but there's no way
I'd personally allow it unless the list was moderated: the current
malware-infested environment has to be considered.  You'll also have
to bump up the max message size to accommodate whatever you'll be
posting.  All these things are configurable via the mailman admin
interface (list owner).
