[SATLUG] A few questions on Mozilla 0.9.8

I loaded 1.7.3

And it also does not have a spell checker and 0.9.8 said it did 
but 1.7.3 doesn't say that it does.

Well I tried Thunderbird several months ago and can't it to run.

I've got my ./mozilla correct...it seems to have something to do 
with the prefs.js file.
