Try using /home/roy/.ssh/authorized_keys instead of the -2 variant.
that went away some time ago, but can be specified in the sshd_config
file if you want.
You do not need the RSA key.
Also, you are not specific as to exactly what key you transferred. It
should be id_dsa.pub.

My ssh_config has *every* line commented out. The defaults are
generally fine.
My sshd_config has only:
Port 22
Protocol 2
ListenAddress <deleted>
SyslogFacility AUTHPRIV
AuthorizedKeysFile .ssh/authorized_keys
X11Forwarding yes
Subsystem sftp /usr/libexec/openssh/sftp-server
