Hi Roy,

I've got a number of boxes set up so I can go to them using the RSA
authentication. Saves a lot of time & trouble.

I'm not sure that you did restart the SSH server daemon. I usually use
the command "/etc/rc.d/init.d/sshd restart". Or before Tom jumps on me
-- the Redhat way would be "service sshd restart". Either way will
restart the server and implement any configuration changes.

If that doesn't work for you Roy, post your /etc/ssh/sshd_config file
for us to take a look. We'll figure it out yet...

Good idea. I did [root at server root]# /usr/sbin/sshd to restart and
still got no recognition of my dsa or rsa pubkey from the server when I
tried to login again. I should have the book in a few days and perhaps
then will figure this out. Thanks -
    Roy
