    You don't need to reboot--this is Linux. :) Use `init q` instead to tell
    init to reread /etc/inittab.
    

I know that Bruce.  But I wanted to be sure that problems didn't come
back if the system were rebooted.  I hate fixing problems that come back
a week later when there is a power failure and the system is rebooted.

Good question.  I'll check on that on APC's website.  I need to see what
they say about Linux software anyway.
