Google for "mercator software".

There used to be a site, www.tsisoft.com that had it and then HP and others
has software to do what you want.

Also Google for "Mercator EDI Integration Software".

I think that CACI does a lot of it.
I have written some VERY simple flat file to EDI translations while at Kelly
and I think the Othniel may have also.

Unfortunately the local guru who did this has retired and really retired
from any computer activities.

Subject: [SATLUG] Create EDI files from CSV?

Hello gang:

This is sort of linux-related, and I know some of you have mainframe
experience so you might be able to help.

I'm wondering if any of you can suggest a tool or software for
exporting our catalog database (csv file) into an EDI file? We need
it to be an ANSI X12 compliant EDI file so we can submit it to the
government for processing. I don't care if the software runs on Linux
or Windows, just need a simple solution for doing the conversions. We
do not at this point need to send purchase orders or invoices via EDI.

Any suggestions are most welcome.

Thanks

Sean
