[SATLUG] KDE "button-menu"?

OK, I'm going to attempt to describe something that I wish was a feature in 
KDE to see if anyone else may have seen something like this in case it 
perhaps somehow already exists:

What I'd like to have is a "button" menu off of the "taskbar" (I think it's 
called 'kicker') in KDE.  A button one could click on that would "pop out" 
another menu that was just more buttons.  So, almost like the main KDE menu, 
but instead of having little icons with words next to them as your menu 
options, you'd just have a list of buttons like the one you clicked on. 
What I would call a "button menu".  I've searched on www.kde-apps.org and 
Googled quite a bit and so far I don't see anything that seems to fit the 
bill with what I'm thinking.

I don't even really NEED anything like this, but just kind of think it would 
cool.  Has anyone seen anything like this?  If not, I may try my hand at 
programming something in KDE and see what that's like!
