It sounds like you want to burn an existing iso image file to a CD.
You can use "cdrecord" for that:
cdrecord dev=0,3,0 speed=16 -v -eject myisoimage.iso
DO a cdrecord -scanbus to find out the correct device setting (dev=xxx)
