Personally, I think this is good news. It means that MS fears Linux
enough to try and partner with Novell to help avoid their own
obsalescence (sp?). In the past MS would force an organization into an
'all or nothing' approach for the enterprise. You had to have their OS
on the client *and* the server. Now, at least, there is a "supported"
option to run a SuSE server with Groupwise with the clients running
Windows (where the employees feel comfortable).

In fact, I think Novell *will* come out on top in this one. Think
about it, if you are running a Win server, you are pretty much forced
to use Win clients. But if you are running a SuSE server, you have the
option of running just about any OS on the clients, and Novell just
happen to produce a very capable client OS of their own. The more I
think about it, I see this as a desperate move by MS to remain
relevant in the enterprise.
