// great idea: I booted fc6, linux rescue, chroot /mnt/sysimage ,
grub-install /dev/hda got a bios error:
/dev/hdb5 does not have any correcponding BIOS drive
I searched for newer bios and installed, 2002 box now has 2003 bios,
still old box, like the owner
repeated grub-install /dev/hda same error
tried grub-install --root-directory=/boot hd0 {fc6 lvm one drive}
this installed grub in MBR but gave the grub>
hum what about grub-install --root-directory=/ hd0
nope get /dev/hdb5 does not have any correcponding BIOS drive
next grub-install --recheck // allowed it to find all the drives
then grub-install --root-directory=/ hd0
Guess what it all now works ..............Yeah
