My history may be a little spotty but I think that Japan has had a history
of invading Korea and then China.  I think Japan felt the need to invade
Korea every 50 to 70 years.

As for Germany, they to have a history of invading Austria; many times
claim them as their own.  Germany has had a think for France too.  It
seems to be in their nature to invade their neighber every second or third
generations.
