Oh I agree about supporting the troops.. I am talking about our leaders.
..
As far as Saddam... it is terribly complex...we built him up to stand
against Iran. It is documented fact that we sic'ed him on Iran in the 80s.
When he was of no use to us... and when he attacked an oil-producing ally---
he suddenly became a "threat".
Also, if a people's hunger or righteousness is what drives us to invade-- we
should have knocked down Pinochet or invaded South Africa during apartheid.
Osama-- yup.. we should have gone after him... instead of Saddam.
By the way... you do know what Al-qaeda means?... it means literally -- "the
list" or "the database" and refers to the list or database of mujahedeen WE
hired to fight the USSR. This is not some loony conspiracy... it is
documented fact my friend...
So yes... the troops are to be honored and taken care of... our lying
leaders... held to the highest scrutiny possible.
And bubba... I'm not even one of these liberals who thinks we should impeach
W--- history will be the final judge.
