[SATLUG] scientific-atlanta DVR from Time Warner

I have a few shows that are recorded on this DVR...
anyone ever taken the HD out to mount it under linux? 
If so, what filesystem does it use?  what file format
are the vids saved as?  I'm going to take mine apart
tonight to see whats up.. just wanted to get a heads
up on what I'm going to be looking at.
