This is going to get me in trouble...but...I was the guy with the  
PowerBook, so yes, yes I have seen a faster one, Quartz/Aqua on Mac  
OS X :)

That said, on almost every OS I've used, I've at some point gotten a  
machine that was too fast for its console driver it seemed, and when  
compiling large code bases (make buildworld anybody? :)) it would  
almost seem to blur.

Now, where oh where did I leave that flame retardant suit....
