Probably. I was concerned about getting the book delivered on time for
the start of class. Park University (On Base), doesn't advertise the
ISBN's for textbooks anymore. I can only guess so that they can get more
book sales through their online bookstore. So, I had a Generic name of
Calculus 8th edition, by Ron Larston as the description. I called Barnes
and Noble....150 results. Searched Amazon, same results. Plus everytime
I order through that site, it takes nearly a month for delivery. I never
pay the rush delivery option. So when I buy the book, I see that it is
truly called Calculus, 8th edition, by Larson and two other authors and
that they offer the book in several variations. The version you buy
depends on if you want Calculus 1 - 3 in one book, two books, three
books or what not. Either way, I just saw $174 vs $90 and didn't see
much of a reason to debate it. Live and learn I guess.
