[SATLUG] Slow Internet response on Linux boxes

Hello all,

I'm looking for someone to take a look at the network I have running. I have
12 Linux computers, 10 Windows boxes and one Mac OSX. The Windows computers
and Mac have no Internet issues that I am aware of. The Linux boxes get slow
to very slow response. For the most part they are running FC3, though two
are on FC5.

A few employees have brought in their own laptops (3 OSX laptops) and none
of those have any issues with speed.

Here is a quick overview of the network so may have an idea as to whether
you can help me out or not. I will explain more if you contact me for
further information.

M0n0wall firewall that also handles DNS forwarding.
FC3 server that hosts a CRM system that uses php and mysql, e-mail and data.
All applications are run locally on the Linux boxes.
One Linux box has its data stored locally.

This is an issue that my boss would be willing to pay to have resolved. I
know some things about Linux, but this one is beyond my abilities to
recognize and correct.

Please contact me at gabriel.doss at gmail.com.

Thanks for your time,
Gabe
