I don't load from the usb drive. I load from the dvd and I save my
configuration data on my flash drive. You mount it and access it like you
would any other storage media.
I hope that helps!
John

I have a few questions at your convenience...
How did you get the CD on the thumb drive? Simple copy?
How do you get the Ubuntu 6.06 to come up from the thumb drive?
Does the thumb drive boot in a system that allows USB boot devices?
The LiveCD is only 600-700 MB.
Are you using the 1.x GB left with the Ubuntu 6.06 or for something else?
I guess the real question here is, if the answer is "something else" can you
access the "something else" when Ubuntu6.06 is booted?
Thanks, Robert
