[SATLUG] VMWare Development Server

I'm looking into purchasing a heavy duty workstation to move most of  
my cross-platform development/testing onto (a VMWare server capable  
of running > 6 instances concurrently without problems)

My forerunner in terms of choices right now is a beautiful Sun Ultra  
20 M2 (medium, 2.2Ghz dual core Opteron, 1GB RAM), I was wondering if  
any of you had suggestions for good vendors for a Linux-based VMWare  
server.
