Well, when I realized you have an ATI chip in there, the following
things happened;

1) I got a migraine.

2) Had nightmares in the daytime.

3) Had an (almost) uncontrollable urge to puke.

I just yesterday took an ATI card out of one of my machines because I
was fed up with the crummy Linux support they give. I replaced it with
an old GeForce card, and life is much simpler now.

I have been suckered into buying ATI products because if the cheap
price. I won't be doing that anymore.

Kind of hard to change the card in a laptop tho!

Ayways, glad it's working now!
