[SATLUG] DEC stuff for free!

The end of an era.

I have three Digital Equipment Corp. Multia workstation mainboards
available to anyone who wants to play.

Actually, I have two mainboards, and a complete workstation with a dead
power supply. At some time in the past, I also bought 256MB of ECC RAM
for them so's I could run Linux.

As those who may be familiar with the Multia know, the power supplies in
these things are a mere 75 watts, and run borderline meltdown when they
run. Heat death is common. However, if you are into hacking, it is
possible to connect a standard AT/X PS to one and it runs fine.

The Multia was quite the feature-laden machine: PS/2 mouse/keyboard,
dual PCMCIA slots, 10BaseT and AUI connectors, VGA video, serial,
parallel ports. Also, a SCSI controller, and IDE controller, and one
PCI 3.3v slot. I have two ribbon cables for connecting a 2.5" IDE drive.

Two of the three motherboards (the ones not in a case) did power up and
boot (Linux RH6.2) the last time I messed with them.

They are free for the taking. My cell is 260-1571 or reply off-list.
My new job prevents me from reading personal email so it may be this
evening before I respond. First email based on timestamp gets it.
