[SATLUG] Battery Disposal Advice

Accepts lead/acid wet & gel-cells for recycling as well as NiCad and NiMH
batteries.  Interstate dealers don't accept batteries for recycle, except
wet cells taken in exchange, but Interstate distributors do.

Walmart, being listed with the nation's major recycling entities,  is
"supposed" to accept NiCad and NiMH batteries for recycle but the managers
in most stores aren't aware of it.  I think it's something they "signed up
for" to look good without having any real desire to follow through on.
