Yeah...  I s'pose I can be am ol' curmudgeon at times...  Its just that 
I'm exploring Linux as a way to beat Vista. The last thing I really want 
to do is mimic it.  I want the functionality I'm accustomed to, in a 
smaller, faster footprint, and Linux supplies that in spades -- a 5.9GB 
Linux (Ubuntu) footprint vs an 11.9 Windoze XP footprint on the same 
laptop?  Which way seems more practical for the same functionality?  
Now...  If I could only get my networks functioning properly...
