[SATLUG] need help...everything is popping up Linux!

Yeah... only a putz would get ticked off for getting solicited for a
windows position whilst reading a Linux mailing list.
Granted, I was recruited for a Unix/Linux gig by another founding member
of SATLUG, but he didn't do it through an email and I had mentioned at a
meeting that I was considering retiring from the military soon.
The gig was great, but the company sold out and is now part of General
Dynamics, and since I was fully vested, I've found somewhere else to
work. Regardless, I wouldn't have answered an email recruitment letter,
especially if it had mentioned windows.
That being said, we decided nearly 10 years ago to allow on-topic
recruitment letters on the mailing list. Several SATLUG members have
gained decent employment through finding these gigs, and until the rules
are changed to exclude them, I think on-topic recruitment emails should
continue to be allowed.
