[SATLUG] need help...everything is popping up Linux!

Ahh...
So what you are saying is that you don't give a damn about a fellow LUG'er
getting a job, you want your content and to hell with everyone else..
If she is having a hard time finding people to fill linux positions, and
searched for lugs in the area to post this, this is good for the linux
community in general.
But being rude to her just makes us all look like jerks. As for your
behavior analogy, it doesn't hold water. If this were the case, then the
TV would be spamming us all. If you like a program on a channel and I
don't and take it out on the producers then that's rude selfish behavior.
The show is not spam. You want what you want and to hell with everyone
else..

Thank you for your time,

Shawn Bender

Spam is defined by behaviour, not content. Even if the content is
something you do actually want to see, it can still qualify as spam.

Just because the other billion people on the planet didn't want to
see that message but were not given the choice, but you did want to
see that message, is not adequate justification for spamming us all.

Spammers have been saying that for years. All they want is just one
bite of your apple.

How many locusts does it take doing that, before your entire orchard is
gone?

You should try taking a dose of your own medicine. Just because some
people do actually want the content in question is not adequate
justification to spam all of the mailing lists in a hundred mile
radius.

And spammers have been saying that one for years, too.

By now, it rings pretty hollow.
