[SATLUG] searching for a hexvalue with vi

Great, I am glad you have solved it.

I would have suggested searching for non-standard ascii characters.
s/[^ -~]//g

Search for a space through a tilde and replace it with nothing.

Also, the next time you try to save the excel document in CVS format make
sure that it is in ascii CVS format.
