I have 2 reasonably high B/W links (Over 1M both ways) and I have noticed
that the interface is EXTREMELY sensitive to latency. The console is not
designed for WAN use, rather to allow admins access without touching the
server (in the case of ESX, there is no default local GUI). It works fine
over LAN speeds (Have been using it since they released a "Headless" server
and remote console), and not so great over WAN. I have found that you
should have only one "Tab" open at a time, otherwise all open tabs try to
keep up, so the aggregate is slower.

Once the system is installed, I agree with the recommended RDP/NX
