Agreed and welcome to the world of Linux. I've been toying with this OS for
years now and can honestly say, there's always something new to learn.

I'm not sure why you're on dialup but if you can swing it, you can get cheap
dsl/rr service. It won't burn the tires off of your system but you will
probably like it much better and the support for a NIC is much easier than a
Winmodem.

Anyhow...good luck. Everyone here is very friendly and full of information
and they like to help. So as you run across problems, holler at the group
and also check online. Google groups has a lot of information too.
