No, I wasn't at LISA this year.  I'm not currently employed, so 
there's no way I could have afforded to go.

But LISA 2007 is going to be in Dallas, so I am currently planning on 
trying to go.  I know some of the USENIX staff people, and I might be 
able to convince them to let me volunteer, in return for some space 
to crash and maybe some reduction in the cost to enter.

Or maybe I'll submit another proposal for an invited talk, and see if 
I can get in that way.
