[SATLUG] Lab management software

At my previous job we set up a VNC server on each computer, and used a
web browser to access the desktops remotely. We had a master HTML
page cut into twelve frames, and a scaled-down version of the
end-user's desktop would show up in each frame. You could click on
the hostname underneath each frame and a full-screen version of the
sales rep's desktop would pop up and allow you to take mouse control,
etc.

Maybe you could wipe all the computers hard drives and install the
K-12 version of LTSP instead http://www.k12ltsp.org/. Not sure your
school would let you do that though :).

An alternative would have them boot LTSP over the network when your
server was on the network, but boot to windows when it was not found.
Then the school would not even know the difference, and you'd get a
chance to expose your students to Linux and open source.
