[SATLUG] Wanna make Lockergnome Linux Fantics happen?

I asked Chris Pirillo of Lockergnome what happened to his Linux Fanatics
publication and he explained that the fellow who did most of the writing for
that publication (Matt) has moved on. I'm sure you know that the
Lockergnome publications are among the most widely read of all ezines and
their high visibility makes it likely that anyone new to Linux will consider
them a viable information source.

If you'd enjoy an opportunity to address other Linux users, encourage
newbies, get your licks in on whatever your pet peeve is (like, for
instance, DRM) and increase your personal public stock while you're at it,
this is your invitation. With permission from and on behalf of Chris
Pirillo I'm extending this invitation to the members of the Austin and San
Antonio LUGs.

What he's offering is a blog, plain and simple, and all rights to the
contents of that blog remain yours but if you write a particularly
interesting piece, it's likely to wind up in Lockergnome's Linux Fanatics
ezine. Or, at any rate, that's my impression of "how it works". Being
pretty much a total newb I don't expect to get any first hand experience in
the process but neither will I let that stop me from writing my own
Lockergnome blog.
