Thanks, Sam, for not confusing the heck out of me. That's an event I'm not
very fond of. Anyways, I used a Knoppix Live Linux CD I had and I've
uploaded the files you requested:
Fedora Core /etc/X11/xorg.conf:
http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dhd2kdwq_61cr53jd
Knoppix /etc/X11/XF86Conf: http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dhd2kdwq_63gbz3sv
Fedora Core /var/log/Xorg.0.log:
http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dhd2kdwq_62dm67rm
Knoppix /var/log/XFree86.0.log:
http://docs.google.com/Doc?id=dhd2kdwq_64g6r6r6
The main difference that jumps out at me in those files is that Knoppix has
no errors in its XFree86 log. However, glxinfo still said "direct
rendering: no".
Thanks for your help!
