[SATLUG] Hardware Encryption

It all went fine right up until the point that I attempted to "scrub"
the empty space left on the drive to get rid of any traces of
confidential data that were outside the encrypted area.  That was when
I borked it.

I used luks on my CentOS box before to encrypt the entire /home
partition.  That worked reasonably well, but in the end I'd still
rather have it handled on the hardware level.  The new Seagate drives
are particularly interesting to me - I was just wondering if anyone
had tried installing Linux on one.
