[SATLUG] Dell is finally starting to get it

Naturally, I am 100% for the selling of linux based PCs, but I think the
larger relevance in this situation is what Microsoft has lost, not what Dell
or the consumer has gained. While linux PC sales may skyrocket, they may
also make a statistically insignificant gain. What I am more happy about is
the fact that M$ has lost the strangle hold they once enjoyed on the OEM
market based on an argument that should never have been given any serious
thought to begin with. To say that selling a PC without a M$ OS on it is
indirectly supporting piracy is tantamount to saying that selling a car
without an upgraded OEM stereo system is supporting auto theft. It is
absolutely ludicrous that this has perpetuated this long, but I am
absolutely elated to see one of the big players in the industry shun M$ in
this fashion. With Google now taking direct aim at M$ office, this should
be a GREAT year!
Viva la revolucion!
