[SATLUG] Runlevel Switching

To add to what Jeremy said, I always used 'telinit', which upon researching 
it just now is apparently very similar to 'init'.  So,

prompt> telinit 3

would take you to runlevel 3.  I don't know what the differences between it 
and 'init' are exactly (apparently something syntactically to some level, 
according to the man page), but it looks like it works similarly to 'init',
