I don't know about equivalent software offerings, but there are a couple 
of options that come to mind.  You could run an M$ instance visualized.  
That way you could lock down the OS within the VM to do just what was 
required my QB.  Another option would be to look at Code Weaver's 
CrossOver products http://www.codeweavers.com.  They have support for 
various Intuit software applications.
