The isp is TW cable. The domain name is from dyndns.org.
The server is Linux, and acts as a
firewall/gateway/router/file-web-ssh-mail server running SuSE Linux 10.0
in runlevel 3.

Mail servers will, for up to 3 days (normally) try to send mail to the
intended mta. When it finally gives up, then that server is probably
down.

My current uptime is

  9:39am up 54 days 22:28, 3 users, load average: 0.02, 0.02, 0.00

I don't lose mail (that I know of) and if the server goes down, it's
either me that's rebooted it, or some idjit has decided that things are
'too normal' and goes running into a power line, or something.

I know, I know.. "UPS!" Iv'e got one here, and it worked for a long
time... it don't work anymore, and I've just not been able to justify
buying a new one, at this time.

Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Clause who gets billed for his services
in January.
