[SATLUG] A self-introduction...

I do not know whether it is appropriate to introduce myself in a
mailing list such as this one as I regularly use other media, but if
this is a frowned-upon practice, please pardon me.

I am a FreeBSD/Linux enthusiast from Laredo. I have grown to like
Linux and other Unix-like systems for their rock-solid stability and
reliability. There is no LUG in Laredo, although I plan to form one
with some friends, but I plan to participate in some SATLUG activities
in the near future, if time allows. I would drive to San Antonio for
today's meeting but, again, it's a 2 1/2 hour drive for me. I hope to
volunteer at this month's InstallFest. I'm always happy to promote the
use of FLOSS.

Again, please don't shoot me down if sending this message to the
mailing list isn't appropriate.
