SuSE is pretty much what I've been with, since I got into Linux... but
here lately, I've downloaded some ISO's and burned a few Live-CD distros
(Knoppix, Whoppix, Whax) and need to get some more, to do some comparison.
I've never been a big fan of the (_insert distro flavor_) Linux gui...
but between kde and gnome, I think I like gnome better.
It's a wonderful thing to have so many choices and, when all is said and
done, it's -still- Linux under the hood. The kernel is the same.
The biggest differences I'm seeing now, aren't so much the 'named
distros', but whether or not the particular distro of interest is RPM
based (RH, SuSE, etc) or not (Slackware, debian (and I'm not 100%
positive that debian isn't) etc...)
Just some personal observations.
