Boot with a livecd or system restore cd and restore grub to the boot partition
(your usb drive)

grub

find /boot/grub/stage1

setup(hd1) <- ***Probably*** Depends on how the hard drives show up. This will
install grub to the MBR of the "second" drive in the system. Make sure you get
the right drive here.

quit

Now reboot your system and boot your Linux install.
