Yes.. that particular recruiter seems to be spamming LUG members all over.
Although it's a good strategy... I wouldn't say that she's not
exactly "focused".

Additionally.. she's from google's SRE ("Site Reliability Engineering") group.
As one google employee from that group put it:
"The people in this group are part sysadmins, part development
engineers. Their function is to keep the Google web properties up
and running, highly available, and performant. A solid foundation in
systems administration is essential for this role, but the SRE group
are not primarily sysadmins - they are application admins, which is
quite a different thing. Any given Google application may have
hundreds or even thousands of actual servers associated with it, so
the kind of "system administration" with which most people here are
familiar is not necessarily pertinent. Yes, sysadmin skills are
essential here, however we also require a very strong skillset in
development, automation, high-level systems architecture, networking,
statistics and general problem-solving. "

I have a few friends at google.. and they've contacted me too from time to
time (chatting with one in SRE right now).

There are a number of internal groups that Linux geeks, coders and Admins
might be interested in. They have a more traditional internal/IT Sys-Admin
type group.. as well as a google "Cluster Operations" team who's main
function is keeping the google cluster systems (multi-site hardware clusters)
up and running. They have a DC-Operations group, a Hardware Operations group
and than various admin and PM roles within each.

Check out their "About" section to find out more... Their only Texas
location, however, is Dallas.

(I think we may actually have a couple of google lurkers on the list.. :)

Also.. once you get your resume in the door.. they pass you around quite a
bit. You may interview with 3-4 different groups or get passed on to a "best
fit" group. Never know.

But from what I hear and see.. it's a great place. Don't get frustrated with
the wait (thinking that their not calling you back). If you've got the foo..
they' call you back.. ;) I've seen it take a couple of months before they
come back to you for a second or third interview (with my friends anyway).
