1. I disagree with Geoff:

For the last 12-15 friends that have complained about XP or Vista, I've
migrated them to Ubuntu.  And there have only been 1 or 2 issues.  Easily
resolved by me through the UbuntuForums.org.

Don't get me wrong it's not all roses, but it's close.  AND IT'S FREE!

I use a MS laptop at home for Visual Studio and my C# programming.  I'm
doing a little Mono development now, so hopefully I can migrate 100%.
Microsoft technologies currently pay my bills, so I don't think I qualify as
a bigot.
