Here is my 2 cents on it My wife hates Linux and will not use it, which
is good it keeps her off certain computers in the house. I have never
recompiled a Kernel in my life and windows came with all my Dell
systems. I have used windows since version 2.0 with dos and I use XP on
one of my custom computers. Vista sucks from all that I hear out there
and this is coming from a computer store sales person too. (Give it 2
or 3 years and it might improve.) Vista does look a lot like OSX and
OSX smells a lot like Linux or Unix dependent on your point of view. I
like Fedora 7 and my wife hates it life goes on and the war between
Microsoft and the rest of the computer world goes on. Oops let me
restate that some of the little widgets in Vista look like OSX. lets see
how the world transpires and just for fun "Can't we all get along?"
