[SATLUG] good buy on an AMD Sempron 3000?

I still think you can get more PC for your money when
you build your own.
For example, the cheapest Dell I can put together is
$379 (the Open Source PC).  Dual core e2140 1.6ghz,
1gig ram, 160gig hd, no monitor.
I think they get you when you add other options.. ie..
320gig hd for $80 more.. go to Frys or pricewatch and
spend $100 to get a 500gig.  I have alot of the stuff
I need already like RAM, HD, kb/mouse, CDRW/DVDRW so
I'd buy it from Dell if they let me get it less those
components which isnt a option.

That email I put out earlier asking for mobo/cpu
combos, I'd have a better pc for the money vs. one
from Dell.  IMO.
