[SATLUG] [OT] Cell phone rant / open source idea

At some point you would regret trading a device that measures 3 inches and 5
ounces for one that is much larger and heavier.  Not only that, the Verizon
wireless card (of which I have one) does not always get great speeds unless
you are in the heart of their coverage zone.  This would mean poor voice
quality at times.  It would be better just to get the unlimited text and
data plan.
