We had Verizon kill one of our cards for "excessive use" on their
"unlimited" plan.  

A better idea would be to get one of the new cell phones that does VOIP
as well when there is an access point.  Saves minutes so you can get a
much lower plan.  

I have a PDA from verizon but it has a skype program on it and I can
call out via that if there is an access point.  Some of the newer phones
switch between VOIP and cell without even dropping calls.
